Yare'ackh *
I chased the moon
in my car that night;
it was large in the sky,
almost surreal
and I tried to catch it
as a child would a lost
floating balloon.
I thought of us.

it was large in the sky,
almost surreal
and I tried to catch it
as a child would a lost
floating balloon.

*Yare'ackh means moon in Hebrew
